Virgin soils, frontier wine region, stellar team. Okanagan Crush Pad was founded in the Okanagan Valley in 2011 by Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie, a shared facility for small farmers and winemakers, as well as home to their own growing range of organic & biodynamic natural wines.

Free Form is a range with no limits. The white is a Sauvignon Blanc, unfiltered and textural. The red here is 100% Pinot Noir plucked from Terry Waters & Cathy Banks' farm in Trout Creek Canyon, farmed by Theo Siemens and Pedro Parra. It's a steep organic plot of limestone and granite.

This wine was made using Pinot Noir clone 667 and naturally fermented in 800-litre clay amphorae, where it sat on skins for 8 months before pressing, then another 2 months of chilling out before being bottled unfiltered and with no added sulphites. It's dark, intense, amazingly fragrant, structured and long. A remarkable wine from a remarkable region.
