Bioweingut Diwald is a pioneering organic winery (organic since 1980) with prime vineyards looking down on the village of Grossriedenthal, with rich löss soil and low yielding vines.
Gösing comes from some of the highest altitude sites in Wagram, around 300-335 metres above sea level. The winemaking sees a natural fermentation in stainless steel with long lees contact of 10 months before bottling just before the next year's harvest.
It's intense and classically Grüner Veltliner, fresh and fruity with lively acidity and spice.
