Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes please. To place an order of wine from us you need to log-in to an existing account or create a new one (as well as making the order process quicker and easier for you, this helps us ensure our customers are over 18). New customers will be asked to enter an email address and create an account password.

Do I have to order a full case of wine?

No! Certainly not. Many online wine retailers will make you order a full case, but at Red Squirrel you can order a single bottle if that's what you would prefer. All we ask is that you spend at least £80 for free UK delivery. The standard delivery cost for orders under £80 that amount is £15.

If you order 6 or 12 bottles (and thereon in multiples of six) it reduces our packaging footprint, which helps us do our bit to be a greener company.

My order is a gift - can I send a message to someone?

Our wines make lovely gifts. Rare, beautiful to look at and genuine talking points: they stand out from the crowd.

If you'd like us to include a gift message, please enter when prompted at checkout, or send as an email at orders@redsquirrelwine.com quoting your order number.

Is it safe to enter my credit card details online?

Our online shop is fully secure. However, if you would prefer to give us your card details over the phone, you may call us to place an order during business hours (9.30-17.30, Mon-Fri) on +44 020 3490 1210.

I loved a particular wine but can't remember which! How do I find it?

This is where having an account with us becomes really useful! Log-in to your account and you can see your order history. This is also where you can see wines you've rated in the past. If you're still none the wiser, email us at hello@redsquirrelwine.com or give us a call on +44 020 3490 1210 and we'll see what we can do.

How do I find wines?

You can Browse wines from the side bar by wine type, country, or grape variety. With over 200 out-of-the-ordinary wines from all the world's nooks & crannies, there are plenty to whet your appetite!

How do I checkout?

Go to your basket to review your order (remember it's £80 for free UK delivery!). If you are an existing customer, you'll be asked to log-in to your account; if you are a new customer, you'll be invited to create an account (NB: you have to create an account to order wine from us).

From there you can enter shipping and billing addresses, and any special instructions (for instance where to leave the wine if you're going to be out of the house, or a specific delivery date). At this point you can still return to the beginning to make amendments to your order, such as add more bottles in order to obtain free delivery.

How do I pay?

Our online shop is fully secure, and you can pay online using major credit or debit cards. However, if you would prefer to give us your card details over the phone, you may call us to place an order during business hours (9.30-17.30, Mon-Fri) on +44 020 3490 1210.

How do I know my order is complete?

You will receive a confirmation at the email address you have provided. We will contact you ASAP if there are any mishaps. For instance, sometimes wines can go out of stock at short notice (and before the website's inventory is updated).
