Tocco Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2017
Tocco is an organic family farm in Alanno, in the Pescara hills. Patriarch Enisio is joined by his sons Lorenzo and Danilo, as well as his nephew Sebastiano. Their Montepulciano vines were planted in 1990. This organic wine was macerated on skins for 10 days, then aged in a mixture of stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. It's your typical Montepulciano d'Abruzzo: ripe red fruit, some spice, dark chocolate and violet aroma, all wrapped up in a deeply inviting, ruby red colour.
