Tocco Passerina 2018
Tocco is an organic family farm in Alanno, in the Pescara hills. Patriarch Enisio is joined by his sons Lorenzo and Danilo, as well as his nephew Sebastiano.
Passerina is an old Abruzzese grape rarely afforded centre stage. You'll find it hidden away in inexpensive blends, which is a shame because with sensitive winemaking and astute farming, Passerina can make terrific white wines. Grown here on pergola vines and hand-picked, it's made in stainless steel and has striking floral and herbal aromas, then medium-bodied, soft and beautifully balanced to taste.
